17 years ago, TBC compiled and published a cookbook of tried-and-true recipes from members of our church. “Feeding the Flock” has stood the test of time, and its recipes have fed, and continue to feed, many hungry stomachs. Since the cookbook’s original publication, however, Tabernacle has welcomed many new families and members into its body as well as members who have grown up and created their own recipes to share. We are proposing a new TBC cookbook that will include several “classics” from the original book but will contain mostly new recipes that are sure to become crowd favorites. If you have a recipe that you would like to include, or if there are recipes from “Feeding the Flock” that you would like to see republished, please see Elizabeth Ferguson, or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org. We need recipes for all types of dishes including soups, salads, desserts, appetizers, and entrees, and there is no limit on how many recipes you can contribute. Let’s spread the joy of eating throughout our church and praise the Lord for his provision!

Bible verse of the day
Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
